Annual Report

The Sierra Club Foundation, one of the America’s leading environmental organizations, contracted with me in 2021 to write their 2020 annual report. Working closely with the team, I developed and wrote this annual report to demonstrate the work and impacts of the SCF in 2020, using storytelling, thematic pillars, stakeholder voices, key messaging and powerful metrics to illustrate how SCF is delivering on its mission and vision.

I interviewed 15 stakeholders and subject matter experts, including field organizers and organizational partners, and managed the stakeholder review process. I also partnered with internal team members in both “arms” of the Sierra Club — the Sierra Club and the Sierra Club Foundation — to elevate and communicate important work while ensuring a clean delineation between 501c3 and 501c4 initiatives.
